The "Uncle Remus" syrup fan, introduced around the 1920s, leverages the "Uncle" archetype and deliberate eye-dialect like "Dis sho' am good" to evoke a sense of Southern authenticity. Tthe "Chocolate Eyes" fan from Null’s Dairy uses exaggerated features of Black children as a visual pun to market chocolate-flavored beverages. Both are framed.
